Yahoo Finance Joe Biden, Kamala Harris morph into comic book heroes
There's a new comic book duo in town – Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
The new president and vice president star in the latest editions of TidalWave Comics' "Political Power" series. “Political Power: President Joe Biden” and “Political Power: Madam Vice President Kamala Harris” were released on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20.
“Comics like this are collectible political memorabilia, but we also want them to be a great read about the people who are running our country," publisher Darren G. Davis said in a news release.

“Political Power: President Joe Biden” is written by Michael Frizell and drawn by Jon Rector and Juan Burgos, while “Political Power: Madam Vice President Kamala Harris” is written by Frizell and drawn by Juan Burgos.
Both feature covers by New Jersey artist Dave Ryan.

"It has been my honor to work on these covers for such prolific politicians," Ryan said, adding that each pushes his "artistic boundaries and innovation."
The comics are biographical, telling the stories of Biden's and Harris' lives as well as political careers.
"What I love about working with TidalWave is that we focus on the real lives of our subjects. We don't get mired down in conjecture. We strive for unbiased storytelling. Don't think of this as a political book. Think of it as a profile of two people who are influential in our political system," Frizell said.

TidalWave has profiled politicians and others for more than 11 years through comics. Previous titles include editions on Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Condoleezza Rice, George Bush, James Comey, Nelson Mandela, Marco Rubio and Elizabeth Warren.
Its lines of biographical comics include the series “Orbit,” “Fame,” “Beyond,” “Tribute” and “Female Force,” in addition to “Political Power.”
Print copies of the Biden and Harris comics can be purchased on Amazon, while digital versions are available from iTunes, Kindle, Nook, ComiXology, Kobo and other e-book retailers.
