James Price of San Diego Weighs In on "Cloud Accounting" Trend

More and More Small Business Owners Are Turning to Cloud Accounting Services -- Prompting a Comment From James Price of San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 11, 2012) - Owning a business always comes with immense responsibility, but owners of small businesses, specifically new businesses, can be especially burdened by different duties. One such duty is corporate accounting, but, according to a new Business Insider report, more and more small business owners are obtaining help with their bookkeeping responsibilities -- often by enlisting cloud-based accounting services. The report has prompted a comment from James Price of San Diego. Price is the CEO of Aero Financial, a company that offers accounting services to a range of small- and medium-sized enterprises.

The Business Insider report notes that, while cloud accounting is nothing new, it has been growing increasingly trendy in recent months, especially among small business owners. The article observes that business accounting is a time-consuming task, even for those who are well versed in finance and in tax preparation. As such, more and more small business owners are choosing to implement cloud-based services, which streamline the accounting process.

James Price of San Diego has released a new statement to the press, weighing the pros and cons of cloud accounting systems. "We have utilized some of these software systems, and can affirm that they can prove a real boon to busy small business owners," says Price. "It is vital for small business owners to have some assistance with the heavy burden of accounting. That's something that can ultimately consume hours of their work week -- but using an accounting service can go a long way toward giving them that time back."

With that said, Price offers a caveat. "With an accounting program like the ones discussed here, the business owner does not receive the kind of long-term advice or counsel that so often comes in handy," he notes. "There are real benefits that come from a more personal interaction with an accountant. A good business accountant will invest in a long-term relationship, and help the business thrive over the long haul -- something a software program simply cannot deliver."

James Price and his San Diego company, Aero Financial, deliver such necessary services. "Our mission is to do nothing less than help companies reach their full potential," he explains. "What we do is find underperforming companies and help them maximize their profitability -- something that typically calls for some accounting work and long-term financial planning. In other words, we know first-hand what a difference good accounting can make, because we see it every day."

In addition to accounting services, James Price and his company also help with business plan development, social marketing deployment, and more.
