• An incident between Nicolas Baert and Christian Hook left Hook stranded in the middle of the track on a blind hill.
  

• Multiple Cars did not adequately slow down for the double yellow, narrowly missing the stranded Hook. Adrian D'Silva in the No. 61 Porsche was unable to avoid contact with the stalled vehicle while racing above 200 KPH.

• All drivers have been reported okay after the incident.

During the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa Saturday evening, Christian Hook was left stranded after contact with Nicolas Baert. While the officials waved the double yellows to warn the upcoming drivers that there was an incident, most drivers did not slow down. Hook was halfway down a hill and the oncoming traffic was blind to the stalled vehicle until they were at the scene of the accident. Focused on Baert's car off in the infield grass, left drivers unprepared as they entered the crash scene.

After several cars swerved around the stalled No. 333 Ferrari, Adrian D'Silva was unable to slow down and violently crashed into the left rear of the No. 333. D'Silva reacted to the car in front of him and accidentally swerved straight into the Hook. The impact sent Hook and his disintegrating car into the wall, producing a fireball.

At the time of the hit, Hook was being investigated for not completing a wave around after the lost caution for the No. 96.

The incident occurred about 4 Hours and 18 minutes into the 24-hour endurance race.

All three cars retired from the race and all three drivers are reported in okay conditions.
