Hershesons is giving back with free haircuts for the NHS
Our NHS has always been invaluable, but the events of the past year have proved just how much we need this brilliant service and its treasured workers.
In anticipation of salons re-opening on April 12, Hershesons is launching a wonderful initiative to give a little back to the NHS nurses that have given us so much over the past 12 months. Running from April 12 until September 30, the #Hair4Heroes campaign sees the Hershesons salon family donating an hour of their time to gifting a NHS worker a cut and blow-dry, and calls on other salons to do the same.
Each participating salon is asked to nominate three further salons across the UK to continue the initiative via the Instagram page @hair4heroes. To get things started, 17 salons have already joined the campaign, including Daniel Galvin and Aveda Gina Conway.
“Hair For Heroes is a way of thanking our NHS nurses and celebrating everything the British hair industry has to offer in what we hope will be a new chapter for us all. We're asking all salons to get on board and spread this campaign as far and wide as possible,” says chairman and founder, Daniel Hersheson.
“We all know how tirelessly nurses worked during the pandemic to take care of us. Now we want to take care of them in the best way we know how – by giving them Great Hair and making them feel good,” adds CEO Luke Hersheson.
