Kim Kardashian is taking the high road and choosing happiness for both her and ex-husband Kanye West after he and model Irina Shayk continue to make headlines. The rapper-turned-designer was initially spotted with the model back in June, and after reports that the new couple is still going strong, Kardashian is giving her blessing.
A source told People that in the midst of their divorce and navigating co-parenting their four children, Kardashian supports West dating Shayk.
"Kim is fine with Kanye dating," the source shared. "She just wants him to be happy."
The source adds that right now, the kids are the ex-couple's main priority and focus. "Kanye is keeping things amicable with Kim so the kids can be happy," they said. "They have been spending time together as a family."

This source's revelations follow the news that West and Shayk were still be going strong, with a source telling People that the two were "very much still dating," after rumors that Shayk had friend zoned the rapper.
"Irina is so upset at the lies about her and Kanye," the source said. And in regards to Shayk turning down "his invitation to Paris," added, "That's just not true. Kanye went to Paris for the Balenciaga show to support Demna [Gvasalia]. He was in and out, only there for 3 hours."
"They are very much still dating," the source continued. A separate source told the publication that while the designer is enjoying spending time with the model he doesn't have any plans to move to the same city as of now.
"Kanye is doing well. He had a great trip to France with Irina. They will date long distance," the source said. "Kanye will continue to be L.A.-based. He has no plans to move to NYC."
