Here's How Google Is Trying To Kill Yelp

Google tried to buy Yelp, but the local reviews site turned down the offer reportedly worth a measly $500 million.

So, Google decided that if it couldn't buy Yelp, it would kill it instead.

Yelp CEO Jeremy Stoppelman has actually testified before Congress about Google, and he's spent much of his time and energy fending off repeated attempts by Google to kill his company.

Stoppelman talked to Business Insider's Nicholas Carlson during our IGNITION conference last week about Yelp's ongoing battle against Google below:
