Gray Television (GTN) Beats Q3 Earnings and Revenue Estimates

Gray Television (GTN) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.46 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.26 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.70 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 76.92%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this broadcast television company would post earnings of $0.28 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.31, delivering a surprise of 10.71%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates four times.

Gray Television, which belongs to the Zacks Broadcast Radio and Television industry, posted revenues of $517 million for the quarter ended September 2019, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 1.21%.
