Granite Point Mortgage Trust: Q4 Earnings Snapshot

NEW YORK (AP) _ Granite Point Mortgage Trust Inc. (GPMT) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $23.2 million.

The New York-based company said it had profit of 39 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 33 cents per share.

The real estate investment trust posted revenue of $54.7 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $27.4 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $40.4 million, or 73 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $124.8 million.

Granite Point Mortgage Trust shares have increased 14% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $11.38, a decline of 30% in the last 12 months.
