Google's diversity push, Ford sales dip while GM and Chrysler gain

The major stock indices (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) all began the day lower but have been climbing back toward positive territory through the mroning. The continuing drama over Greece may have a lot to do with today's weakness.

Here are some of the other stories Yahoo Finance is keeping an eye on today.

Auto sales
It's a mixed bag of sales results for "Big Three" automakers. Both Fiat Chrysler (FCAU) and General Motors (GM) saw healthy gains of 4 and 3 percent respectively.  But Ford (F) reported a decline of 1.3 precent as supply issues continue to affect it's best-selling vehicle, the F-150 pickup, which is being revamped with more aluminum.

Homes are getting bigger
Data from the Census Bureau find more than a third of new homes built last year had three or more bathrooms; up from about a quarter in 2013.  And the median square footage is up about 10 percent over the past decade.

Coffee and climate change
Researchers writing in Science Direct find that rising nighttime temperatures have adversely affected growth of Arabica beans in Tanzania. They say it's the first direct evidence that global warming is affecting the coffee crop.
