Gisele Bündchen and Her Boyfriend Joaquim Valente Make Their Public Debut as a Couple

They soft-launched their relationship at the supermodel's cookbook event in Miami.

After months of keeping her relationship with her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, under wraps, Gisele Bündchen is ready to scream her love for him from the rooftops. Ok, we wouldn't go that far, but she's definitely not hiding it anymore.  

On Wednesday, Bündchen and Valente made their first public appearance together as a couple at the launch of the supermodel's new cookbook, Nourish, while in Miami and she even gave him a sweet shoutout during the event. Dressed casually in a gray T-shirt and jeans for a Q&A session, Bündchen opened up about her personal life. 

According to Page Six, the mom of two, who moved to Miami following her October 2022 divorce from Tom Brady, told the audience she wished she moved to South Florida "ten years ago," before crediting Valente for the positive influence he's had on her. She revealed that the personal trainer and his siblings, Pedro and Gui Valente, taught her about “food spacing and food combining” to stay healthy.

The outlet also reported that after the model was done with her speaking engagement, Valente, who wore a navy blue button-up and matching slacks, made his way up to the stage to greet his girlfriend with a smile.

Bündchen and Valente have been quietly dating since June, but they were first spotted together in Costa Rica in November 2022 — a month after her divorce from Brady — however, they were just friends at that point. "This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first," she shared during a recent interview with The New York Times, adding: "It's very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent."
