German energy regulator: gas savings slowed in Germany last week
BERLIN, March 16 (Reuters) - Gas savings across households, businesses and industry in Germany slowed last week, the head of the country's energy regulator said on Thursday.
Gas consumption across those groups was down 3% in the 10th calendar week of 2023, Bundesnetzagentur chief Klaus Mueller wrote on Twitter. This energy regulator reported 8% savings the prior week, compared to the corresponding 2018-2021 average. (Writing by Rachel More, Editing by Friederike Heine)
