Financials surge, as big banks kick off earnings season

Stocks (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) are rallying modestly at midday after two of three big banks beat on earnings this morning. The financial sector (XLF) is leading, while utilities (XLU) are stuck in the red. Jonathan Corpina of Meridian Equity Partners joins us live from the New York Stock Exchange.
