Fast & Furious Fans Witness Eye-Popping Car Crash Stunt

So ‘Fast & Furious 8’ has started filming in earnest then…

Either that or someone is about to put in a rather substantial insurance claim.

Kasey Crabtree was minding her own business in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, this week when cars started falling out of buildings.

As is customary in the 'F&F’ movies, the vehicles explode into a ball of fire as they hit the street beneath, with several other cars then ploughing into the flaming wreckage.

Catching the footage and sticking it on YouTube, it was a pretty amazing sight to behold, with a helicopter also hovering above the action.

Vin Diesel and the other members of the crew have been keeping fans up to date on the filming via their social media accounts.

The crew have been filming in the rather more exotic location of Cuba too, the first movie allowed to film there in decades.

It is also filming in New York (with Cleveland standing in for some scenes), as well as Atlanta.

Joining Diesel on the ride this time is Charlize Theron, playing the movie’s villain, Cipher, along with series stalwarts Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Dwanye Johnson.

Jason Statham and Nathalie Emmanuel will also be back, along with newcomer Scott Eastwood, son of Clint.

The movie, the first of three more films in the multi-billion dollar franchise, taking the series up to 10, is to be released on April 14, 2017, helmed by ‘Straight Outta Compton’ director F. Gary Gray.
