Every Dodgers win this season will cost more than $3 million in player salaries alone

Thanks to a new, free-spending ownership group, the Los Angeles Dodgers payroll has now stretched past $300 million. At their current pace, they will end up spending nearly $3.4 million for every win this year in player salaries alone.

That is more than twice the MLB average this year of $1.6 million, and more than three times as much as the Astros are spending per win. The Astros have just two fewer wins than the Dodgers.

The Tampa Bay Rays, who have an outside shot to make the playoffs, have the most efficient payroll at less than $900,000 per win.
