As the weather starts to warm, adults and children alike begin to think of springtime and the fun it brings — for students and parents, that means March Break.
It’s a busy time of year for Canadians to travel and there are plenty of deals to take advantage of if you want to go on vacation with your family. There are super savings for Canadians in Myrtle Beach for Can-Am days; you will have a last chance to ski down the slopes of Tremblant in Quebec; take a road trip to our Nations Capital; catch some baseballs at spring training in Phoenix; or set sail on a dream cruise.

Savings: Discounts range from 25 to 55 per cent on select Myrtle Beach area hotels, merchants and attractions for Canadian travelers throughout spring. Check each specific website for the deal they are offering Canadians.
The Details: Aimed directly at Canadians, Can-Am discounts are offered to attempt and offset the currency exchange rate and save Canadians money on their travels. You will need a valid Canadian passport to receive the discounts that can be applied to select hotels, golf courses, restaurants, live entertainment, and many attractions through May 2018. There is also an official Canadian-American Festival during the week of March 10-18 with even more discounts to help with the exchange rate.
Reasons To Go: The festival in March showcases the best of South Carolina’s southern hospitality. Start your day with complimentary food and coffee at the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce. On March 14 and 15 board the free shuttle heading to downtown Conway to explore the Riverwalk, Horry County Museum and take a ride along the Waccama River. Reservations are required. Savings: Save up to 55 per cent off for five days of skiing during school break at Tremblant. Lift ticket prices vary per age of skier.
The Details: For children aged six to 12 prices start at $125; for teenagers aged 13 – 17 it’s from $139; adult prices start at $229. This is for five days of skiing that are to be used consecutively or over a 10-day period during the school break, including weekends, until March 25, 2018.
