EMC, Dell deal talks; Shake Shack slides; Caesars gains on REIT plan

Shake Shack 

Shake Shack (SHAK) dropped as its pre-IPO investors cash out. The burger chain's major existing shareholders filed for the sale of another 26 million shares. Shares have been slumping in recent months after hitting a peak of above $92 in May. Shake Shack is still about 5% above its debut price when it went public in January.

EMC

EMC (EMC) gained on advanced talks of merging with Dell. The Wall Street Journal reported Dell is discussing a full or partial takeover of EMC. It's also possible no deal will be reached, at all. EMC's future has has been a big question for more than year. Any deal between the two tech heavyweights would be one of the industry's largest mergers.

Caesars Entertainment 

Caesars Entertainment (CZR) rose on a new reorganization plan. The casino giant placed its operating unit under chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January. Caesars has filed to amend the plan to convert its largest unit into a real estate investment trust.
