Linda Carter has made a disturbing new discovery about Katy Lewis's abuse in EastEnders.

The past weeks have seen Linda supporting her husband Mick after discovering the childhood sexual abuse he suffered from his former carer Katy, as he reconciled with his long-lost daughter Frankie.

In Monday's episode (January 25), Frankie (Rose Ayling-Ellis) wanted to mark the death of her half-brother Harry by bringing his other sibling Jed to the Square for a proper memorial at the crematorium.

Linda (Kellie Bright) started feeling uncomfortable when Frankie explained that Harry's father was never involved in his life, whereas older brother Jed always kept in touch.

With Shirley's warning flashing in her mind that Katy was lying about only ever abusing Mick, Linda was determined to find out the real story about Jed and asked to go along for the day so she could find out more information.

Later, Linda's attempts to explain to Jed about what happened to Mick led to Jed storming away.

When Linda and Frankie followed to see what was wrong, it turned out that Linda's suspicions about Jed being Harry's father (rather than his brother) were true.

"I did what I promised. I've never told anyone, not a single word. Not about me, not about any of us," Jed shouted with tears in his eyes. "You tell Katy that – tell her!"

Linda was horrified over Jed's use of the phrase "any of us" and what it could mean about the true number of Katy's victims, while Frankie struggled with another horrifying discovery.
