Does the First McLaren Senna Delivered in the United States Make You Green with Envy?

From Car and Driver

We don’t know if new McLaren Senna owner Michael Fux chose custom green-tinted carbon-fiber bodywork for his new ride to make others green with envy-and really drive that analogy home-but it might have that effect on people. Or maybe the notion that this is the first Senna to be delivered in the United States might stop people in their tracks.

Either way, this McLaren isn’t merely green on the outside-it sports still more green inside. It’s on the door struts and the rearview mirror, but most of the interior is white leather, with the headliner in black microsuede. The custom work was carried out by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), which previously crafted for a fuchsia 720S for Fux as well as two MP4-12Cs, an orange coupe and a purple convertible. This guy really enjoys colorful vehicles.

Is this MSO McLaren beyond the pale? Or is this the proper level of plumage for a 789-hp supercar? Judge for yourself. We’ll do the same when we see it in person at The Quail during Monterey Car Week in August.
