What Does The Boy From The ‘Success Kid’ Memes Look Like Now?

If you’ve ever been on the Internet for the past few years, the chances are you would have seen Success Kid at some point.

The face of a baby showing pure satisfaction of a job well done - and a little fist pump for good measure - became one of the biggest memes on the history of the web.

Whenever someone did something well or something good happened - like passing a driving test or your takeaway turning up - Success Kid’s chubby little face was there, ready to be unleashed.

But what does Sammy Griner - the boy whose face is one of the most recognisable in the world - look like now?

Well, he was 11-months-old when the legendary picture was taken and now Sammy is an eight-year-old lad:

His mum Laney, who took the now infamous shot in 2007, posted the updated picture of her son as he looks today on Imgur.

And she revealed that he has used his fame to help raise £70,000 for his dad Justin, 39, for his dad’s kidney transplant surgery last year.

Speaking of her son’s Internet fame, Laney told Buzzfeed: “He’s been this meme for as long as he can remember.

“But he gets embarrassed by it plenty, too.”

He has a lifetime of this to come!
