Defensive lineman Jatorian Hansford is fifth Missouri Tiger to transfer this week
Defensive lineman Jatorian Hansford is transferring from the Missouri Tigers football program.
The senior backup defensive end entered the transfer portal on Thursday, becoming the fifth player to transfer since the last game of the regular season. Tight ends Daniel Parker Jr. and Messiah Swinson, along with defensive backs Chris Shearin and Ish Burdine also left.
Hansford played 195 total snaps on defense for the Tigers this season, according to Pro Football Focus. He had eight total tackles, seven of which were unassisted, and one sack on the year.
A native of Forsyth, Georgia, Hansford joined the Mizzou program in 2018 as a three-star recruit, listed as an outside linebacker. He played a sizable role in 2019, seeing 381 total snaps on defense and recording 15 total tackles, but saw less time on the field in his two years under head coach Eliah Drinkwitz. He finished his Mizzou career with 27 total tackles (21 solo) and 4.5 tackles for loss.
