Yahoo Finance YOU creators making another Caroline Kepnes book, Providence , into a series

The creators of YOU, the hit serial killer stalker drama, aren't fixing what ain't broke. Showrunner Sera Gamble is reuniting with YOU writer Neil Reynolds to pen a new series based on another book by author Caroline Kepnes, who published the first YOU novel in 2014.
The new series is based on the novel Providence and is being developed for the Peacock streaming service, EW has learned.
Providence is the story of Jon Bronson, who, at the age of 12, mysteriously vanished along with five other children in his class. Ten years later, he reappears as a grown man with no recollection of his adolescence. Chloe Sayers, his childhood crush, never lost hope that he was still out there. Jon attempts to re-enter life and reconnect with Chloe, but unbeknownst to even Jon, whatever happened to him in his time away granted him horrific supernatural abilities, ones that prevent him from being physically close to Chloe.
Gamble and Reynolds will also serve as executive producers on Providence, which is set up through Berlanti Productions, Alloy Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Television. It also marks a reunion with Susan Rovner, who worked on YOU and is now NBCUniversal's chairman of entertainment content.
"I'm thrilled to team up with Sera, Neil and Greg once again and bring to life another adaptation of Caroline Kepnes' gripping novels, this time with supernatural thriller and mysterious love story, Providence," Rovner said in a statement. "On the drama development side we are ramping up cross-genre series that have wide appeal, and Providence is a shining example of the types of shows we're looking to bring to Peacock."
YOU season 3, meanwhile, started filming in November.
