Crash involving stalled vehicle on SH 360 on Saturday morning results in one death

A multi-vehicle crash in Arlington left one person dead Saturday morning after a stalled BMW 381i was hit from behind in a lane on southbound SH 360 by a Toyota Tacoma.

The incident happened around 7:55 a.m.

Arlington police said a 27-year-old man was thrown from a vehicle and was transported with serious injuries to a local hospital, where he later died.

A 29-year-old man, the driver of the BMW, suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital. The front-seat passenger, a 28-year-old man who had exited the vehicle prior to the crash, had minor injuries and was treated at the scene, authorities said.

The driver of the Tacoma, a 43 year-old man, had minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Police said the man is cooperating with accident investigators and no charges are expected to be filed against him.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
