Costco (COST) Stock Sinks As Market Gains: What You Should Know

In the latest trading session, Costco (COST) closed at $364.86, marking a -0.03% move from the previous day. This change lagged the S&P 500's 1.2% gain on the day. Meanwhile, the Dow gained 0.53%, and the Nasdaq, a tech-heavy index, added 1.64%.

Coming into today, shares of the warehouse club operator had gained 2.81% in the past month. In that same time, the Retail-Wholesale sector gained 1.34%, while the S&P 500 lost 2.23%.
