• Shares of Vail Resorts Inc. (MTN) increased 2.9% after declaring fiscal third quarter earnings of $4.23 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 3 cents

• Vodafone Group Plc’s (VOD) shares fell 2.3% on news of a $2.4 billion merger of the company’s New Zealand unit with Sky Network Television

• Shares of ABM Industries Incorporated (ABM) rose 7.2% after posting fiscal second quarter earnings of $0.31 per share, higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 3 cents
