Cigna up on Anthem deal talk; Under Armour's strong gains; SanDisk spikes

Time for your daily dose of trending tickers, the stocks you're following based on your Yahoo Finance ticker searches.

Cigna

Cigna (CI) rose on a possible takeover deal. According to multiple reports, Cigna is near a deal to be bought by rival health insurer Anthem for more than $48 billion. That's about $187 a share. Anthem's (ANTM) stock slightly howered around the flat line. Health insurance companies have been rushing to consolidate since the passing of the Affordable care act.

SanDisk

SanDisk (SNDK) spiked after posting better-than-expected quarterly results. The flash-memory chips maker nearly doubled the Street's very weak estimates. But still reported a big drop in both profit and sales for its second quarter. SanDisk benefited from the introduction of new products and growing demand for smartphones.

Under Armour
