Yahoo Finance Chick-fil-A Is Rolling Out A New Spicy Grilled Chicken Sandwich For A Limited Time
The chicken sandwich is the champion of fast food restaurant menus. Hamburgers can be too hit or miss from place to place, but every chicken sandwich offers something different as far as flavor, texture, and toppings go. The Popeyes chicken sandwich may have broken the internet back in 2019, but Chick-fil-A is starting off 2021 with a bang by adding a spicy grilled chicken sandwich to their menu.
Starting on Monday, January 25, the new menu item will make its way to participating Chick-fil-A locations. The sandwich will only be available for a limited time, so you should schedule in a trip to your local drive-thru ASAP. It's the first limited-edition item to be added to the menu since 2019, according to a press release, so it's a pretty big deal and will likely live up to the hype.
The Grilled Spicy Deluxe sandwich was tested at Chick-fil-A locations in select markets and is being brought on as a more widely available meal because of the glowing reviews it got from the guests who tried it first. Each sandwich features a spicy seasoning marinated chicken that is grilled to perfection and served on a toasted multigrain brioche bun with Colby Jack cheese, lettuce, and tomato.
Chick-fil-A is also offering a new Cilantro Lime Sauce for a limited time that was made specifically to be paired with this spicy sandwich, so you can save all your Chick-fil-A sauce for dipping your fries as all the higher powers intended.
