Celebs Go Dating has confirmed some of its cast members are isolating due to the current COVID-19 measures.

According to The Sun, at least four of the stars taking part in the E4 dating show are temporarily unable to film for the upcoming 10th season because of the self-isolation protocols.

"The health and safety of cast and crew remains our top priority. Rigorous COVID-19 protocols are in place and are continuing to be followed at all times across the production," a Celebs Go Dating spokesperson confirmed the news in a statement.

"The production maintains a safe environment to continue scenes with other cast, with further filming being rescheduled to ensure everybody's safety."

Following Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion, which aired earlier this year, the reality series has confirmed that a new batch of episodes will air on E4 in 2022.

"It's been a long time coming for our celebs to get back out in the real world and date potential suitors," Lime Pictures boss Sarah Tyekiff teased in October.

"We can't wait to see how their dating skills cope now they are outside the confines of their own homes and back out on the town. This brand-new series is going to be the biggest test yet, as we set out to ramp up the dates creating more challenges and compatibility tests, putting our celebrities through their paces as they get closer to finding love."

Celebs Go Dating will return next year.
