CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - November 01, 2016) - Canadian Tire is the newest addition to Destination: Deerfoot City's rapidly growing tenant roster. The 103,000 SF location has replaced the nearby Canadian Tire on Hunterhorn Road, offering shoppers a more spacious and modern shopping experience.

The new Canadian Tire, located along the south side of the property next to the Cabela's which opened last fall, will host a four day grand opening celebration from November 3rd - November 6th. Visitors can look forward to savings, giveaways and hundreds of prizes to be won in-store.

Meanwhile, redevelopment of the former Sears store and construction of the new Deerfoot Boulevard high street retail zone continues. The redevelopment of the property has been segmented into distinct neighbourhoods enabling many of the retail stores that are currently open to operate during construction with little disruption.
