TORONTO (Reuters) - Canadian home sales rose 3.6 percent in April from the previous month, adding to the sector's recovery after sales in February hit the lowest since 2012, the Canadian Real Estate Association said on Wednesday.

The industry group said actual sales, not seasonally adjusted, rose 4.2 percent from a year earlier, while the group's Home Price Index was down 0.3 percent from April last year.
