Brazil's top soybean city seeks to lure crushing investments
SAO PAULO, March 4 (Reuters) - The mayor of Brazil's center-western town of Sorriso, the world's largest soybean producer, has been meeting with trading giants to attract investments for the local soy crushing industry, he said on Monday.
Ari Lafin has engaged in talks with Cargill and COFCO to lure investments to the city, located in Mato Grosso state. He will meet Bunge representatives on Tuesday. (Reporting by Ana Mano; editing by Gabriel Araujo)
