SAO PAULO, June 11 (Reuters) - Brazilian stock exchange B3 SA Brasil confirmed on Friday it was trying to fix problems affecting positions from Thursday's trading.
In a statement to Reuters, B3 said it had problems on Thursday with systems that integrate the trading and clearing platforms.
The stock exchange sent a notice to clients Friday morning saying some accounts may have potential problems seeing the balance or positions in the accounts considering Thursday's trades.
Some clients did not receive the files with the final positions in each account after the trading day as usual on Thursday. "The incident has delayed post-trading procedures", the stock exchange said.
"I have not yet received the custody reports of our portfolios", said Vitor Carvalho, partner at Laic Asset Management before trading began on Friday. He expects custody reports to be delayed on Friday too. (Reporting by Paula Laier, writing by Tatiana Bautzer; editing by David Evans)
