Best Cyber Monday Deals: Savings on Everything From Electronics to Toys

  • Cyber Monday is Nov. 26, but you don’t have to wait until then to save.

  • Amazon, Dell and Office Depot already have deals available to shop.

  • Expect to see extra Cyber Monday online shopping deals on computers, tablets, other electronics, toys and more.

In 2017, Cyber Monday took home the title of the single biggest shopping day in the history of American e-commerce, according to Adobe Digital Insights. Last year, online deal hunters dropped $6.59 billion — this year, it’s your turn.

When Cyber Monday 2018 rolls around on Nov. 26, you don’t have to waste any time browsing for the best deals. And you won’t even have to change out of your pajamas or fight the retail masses to take advantage of the shopping holiday’s deep discounts.

Computer and Tablet Deals

Cyber Monday sales are an absolute boon for tech deals, especially when it comes to computers and tablets. If you’re in the market for a new computer, waiting for Cyber Monday laptop deals might just pay off in spades.

  • Inspiron 17 5000: Dell also has yet to release its official Cyber Monday deals, but you can already score big savings on an Inspiron 17 5000 — it’s marked down from $929.99 to $849.99.

  • Kindle: If e-books are more your style, be on the lookout for Kindle markdowns. Last year, deals included $30 savings on a standard Kindle for $49.99 and $20 savings on a Kindle Paperwhite at $99.99. For more tablet-like functionality — or beginning readers — Amazon also dropped its Kindle Voyager and Kindle for Kids Bundle prices by $30 last Cyber Monday. Currently, a Kindle Paperwhite bundle pack, which includes a red leather cover, is on sale for $169.97, down from $189.97.

  • Precision 15 7000: Last year, Dell’s small-business sale offered a mobile Workstation with a 4K display, 3TB of storage and a Quad Core processor at a savings of $249 off its regular $1,028.79 price. Look out for a similar price drop in 2018. As far as the Precision series goes, the Precision 7530 is currently on sale for $1,559, down 40 percent.

Electronics Deals

Nov. 26 isn’t all about computers and tablets. It just wouldn’t be Cyber Monday without plenty of deals on other cutting-edge gizmos, from smart home systems to streaming boxes.

  • Echo Plus: A certified refurbished Echo Plus is currently going for $129.99, which is $20 less than a brand new one.

  • Epson Expression Premium XP-640 Small-In-One Inkjet Printer: Office Depot is celebrating Cyber Monday early with markdowns across the site. You can grab this pint-sized $149.99 photo printer-copier-scanner combo for a reduced price of $59.99.

  • Amazon Fire TV: Last year saw big discounts on Amazon Fire TV products for Cyber Monday, and there are already some good deals live on the site. Save just over $60 on a bundle that includes a Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Recast and a 35-mile HD antenna right now as part of Amazon’s early Black Friday deals.

Toys, Games and Movie Deals

This Cyber Monday is bringing the heat on techy toys. You probably thought you didn’t need toys once you hit 30, but you might just think differently when Nov. 26 hits.

  • Lego Taj Mahal: This one’s more for the hardcore Lego fans than it is the deal hunters. Lego is taking a different Cyber Monday tact, offering an exclusive, highly sought-after kit rather than a bargain deal. For a limited time, you can snag a re-issue of the rare, fan-favorite Taj Mahal kit from Lego for $370 — all 6,000 pieces of it.

Best of the Rest

Though Cyber Monday and new tech go together like chocolate and peanut butter, not all the sales are strictly silicon-based.

  • Glamping Hub: This seller of unique outdoor accommodations is offering its first-ever Cyber Monday deal, which is 20 percent more on your purchase of a Glamping Hub gift card.

  • Dash Buttons: Amazon usually sells its handy Dash Buttons — which allow you to order just about any of the products you regularly use at home with the touch of a button — for $4.99. Cyber Monday deals last year saw them slashed to just 99 cents, plus a $4.99 credit back after your first Dash-powered purchase. A similar deal could be offered for Cyber Monday 2018.

  • Miele Vacuum Cleaners: On Cyber Monday 2017, authorized Miele Dealers sold these premium vacs at the minimum authorized price. To sweeten the deal, Black Friday and Cyber Monday shoppers received free overnight or expedited shipping, a 60-day money-back guarantee, free gift-wrapping and free return shipping. If you’re a neat freak, you should be on the lookout for similar savings for Cyber Monday 2018.

  • Almost Everything at Claire’s: Whether it’s teen-friendly jewelry, hair doo-dads, beauty products or colorful phone accessories, Claire’s promises 50 percent off “almost everything” for Black Friday 2018. Last year, sales extended through Cyber Monday, so you can expect that they will this year, too.

  • Office Depot Print Services: If you want to get your Cyber Monday on early this year, hop over to the Office Depot website and get some printing done now — all business cards, copies and flyers, custom stamps, promotional products, signs, posters and banners are 20 percent off.

  • Kohl’s Cash: Here’s a pro tip for holiday power shoppers. For every $50 you spend at Kohl’s from Nov. 19-23 — including its massive Black Friday sale — you’ll get $15 in Kohl’s Cash. The kicker? You can redeem your bucks from Nov. 24-Dec. 5, making this the ideal opportunity to really cash in this Cyber Monday.
