Aviat Secures Contract from Government of Latin America

Premium provider of microwave networking solutions, Aviat Networks, Inc. AVNW, clinched a contract to supply IP/MPLS Microwave Solution to Latin America’s Government Network.

Aviat’s offering creates a multi-agency private data network. This network will enable police, security personnel and correctional facilities to seamlessly share information without compromising on security. This sturdy network is capable of supporting video surveillance, mobile communications, data traffic and other mission-critical applications required by the government.

CTR microwave routers integrate the key functions of a microwave radio and router in one device. These routers are well equipped to support IP/MPLS-based VPN services that will assist the government in delivering inter-agency communications without any glitch. Use of CPR microwave routers can deliver services with relatively less number of boxes and are easy to deploy.

Aviat provides LTE-proven microwave networking solutions to mobile operators across the globe. These solutions are necessary to manage the exponential growth of IP-centric, multi-Gigabit data services. The company’s offerings are extensively deployed by public networks to ensure safety.

Per the latest deal, Aviat will also cater design, engineering and deployment services for the Latin American Government. It believes that the IP/MPLS microwave router is an ideal solution for government clients as they serve multiple agencies over an integrated infrastructure.
