Yahoo Finance Aubrey O'Day Reacts After Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Homes Are Raided amid Lawsuits: 'What You Sow, You Shall Reap'
O'Day was a member of the girl group Danity Kane, formed by Combs on MTV's 'Making the Band,' from 2005-2008
Aubrey O'Day of Danity Kane is speaking out after her former record label boss Sean “Diddy” Combs' homes were raided by federal agents amid a series of ongoing sexual assault lawsuits against the rapper.
On Monday, the musician and reality television personality shared a headline about Combs' home raids to her Instagram Story. "What you sow, you shall reap," wrote O'Day, who rose to fame as a member of the girl group Danity Kane, formed by Combs on MTV's Making the Band.
"I pray this emboldens all of US victims to finally speak on what we have endured," continued the 40-year-old star, who then shared a video of Tupac Shakur dancing to her Instagram Story and wrote, "There is no 'too soon' on this one, just 'too late.'"
On Tuesday, an attorney for Combs, 54, likened the raids to a "witchhunt" and maintained his client's innocence.

"Respectfully, I've been telling y'all this for 2 decades and did anyone listen? No," she wrote on her Instagram Story, before sharing several clips from Making the Band that feature herself and Combs navigating disagreements.
Danity Kane — which originally featured O'Day, Aundria Fimbres, Wanita "D. Woods" Woodgett, Shannon Bex and Dawn Richard — was formed on the third iteration Making the Band in 2005 and later signed to Bad Boy Records.

The group achieved success with the hit singles "Show Stopper" and "Damaged" though only released two albums before Combs removed O'Day and Woodgett from the lineup in 2008 following tension between the women and the music mogul.
Danity Kane fully disbanded and left Bad Boy Records the following year, and they've since reunited on several occasions without Combs' involvement.
Over the past several months, Combs has been accused of sexual assault and similar allegations by five people in separate lawsuits.

Sean "Diddy" Combs in Beverly Hills in January 2020Last month, his former producer and videographer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a lawsuit in New York federal court alleging that for more than a year, Combs sexually harassed, drugged and threatened him. He is seeking $30 million in damages.
Combs was accused of sexual assault, sex trafficking and gang rape by Jane Doe in a lawsuit filed in December 2023. The month prior, he accused of sexual assault by a third woman, Joi Dickerson-Neal, in a lawsuit filed in New York County Supreme Court.
In documents obtained by PEOPLE, another Jane Doe, who has since revealed herself as Liza Gardner, alleged that Combs and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall took turns raping her and a friend in New York City more than 30 years ago.

Sean "Diddy" Combs in New York City in May 2018Singer Casandra "Cassie" Ventura filed a lawsuit against Combs for allegations of rape, sex trafficking and domestic violence in November, but they reached a settlement one day later.
Combs issued a blanket denial of all allegations against him in a statement to PEOPLE in December.
“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy," he said.

Shortly after Ventura's lawsuit was filed, O'Day expressed "full support" for the "Me & U" artist in a statement given to Rolling Stone.
"I am in full support of Cassie. It isn’t easy to take on one of the most powerful people in this industry and be honest about your experience with them. I know what her heart is feeling right now, because I have done so as well," she said at the time.
O'Day continued, "May her voice bring all the others to the table, so we can start having more transparent conversations about what is actually happening behind the scenes. There is a lot more to all of our stories!"
