Here’s an ASMR video of someone making guacamole, so really what more do you need to know?

In case you don’t know, the whole YouTube ASMR videos thing is a THING. ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is defined by the ever-reliable Wikipedia as “a tingly experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine, precipitating relaxation.” While this might not be a feeling that you’re familiar with (not everybody experiences it!), if you are, you’ve probably already delved into the rabbit whole of AMSR YouTube videos.

Regardless of your knowledge or lack thereof when it comes to ASMR, if you’re human and have internet, you’re definitely familiar with those super weirdly soothing YouTube cooking videos that pop up on Facebook.

Behold: the ultimate combination of these two incredibly relaxing things. A silent guacamole cooking ASMR video. Ohmygod.

The video comes from a YouTube channel called “Silently Cooking” which is something we didn’t know we needed in our lives until we just lost an embarrassingly large portion of our day watching videos on it. There’s something so satisfying about watching somebody assemble a recipe precisely into something delicious right before your eyes, but it’s even MORE satisfying when it’s crafted specifically to feel satisfying.

Like, we’ve honestly never been happier about guacamole in our lives and that is SAYING something because guacamole makes us pretty gosh darn happy.
