Apollo Global Management, Inc. (NYSE:APO) Investor Notice: Lawsuit against Former CEO over alleged defamation and violent behavior announced by Shareholders Foundation

The plaintiff filed lawsuit against the former CEO of Apollo Global Management, Inc. alleges that he defamed her and subjected her to sexual violence over several years.

The lawsuit comes after a statement by the former CEO of Apollo Global Management, Inc from April 2021. In it he stated that he had a "consensual affair" with the plaintiff that ended over seven years ago and that he allegedly had been extorted by the plaintiff for many years over her threats to go public concerning their relationship and that he paid substantial monetary payments to her in an attempt to spare his family from public embarrassment.

However, according to the lawsuit the former CEO picked her out of a crowd at a 2008 and later accompanied her to numerous 5-star restaurants, Broadway shows, art shows, museum exhibitions, private parties, and the movies. According to her he did not try to keep her a secret and she never threatened to go public.

She also claims that she did not have a consensual affair with him. To the opposite, she accuses him of multiple sexual assaults and a rape in 2014.

The plaintiff further claims that the former CEO of Apollo Global Management, Inc. threatened her for many years and claims that if she did not sign an NDA, accept money, and retreat into silence, that "she would feel the brunt of his true wrath". She claims that he told her many times, that "If you do not take the money, I will put you in prison" and "if you do not take the money, I will destroy your life."
