American Airlines adds new Canadian destination from Charlotte Douglas Airport
American Airlines is adding new nonstop service from Charlotte to Quebec City, starting this summer, the company said Wednesday.
The new route to the Canadian city from Charlotte Douglas International Airport will begin on Aug. 10, according to the airline. This will be the first time American Airline flights will go to Jean Lesage International Airport from Charlotte, spokeswoman Bri Harper said.
American Airlines is offering the service once a week through Nov. 2 on a 76-seat plane.
Some of the attractions in Quebec City include Montmorency Falls, Jacques-Cartier National Park and Old Québec.
More service to Canada
The route to Quebec City will be the third route to Canada this year.
Flights to Calgary are being offered on Saturdays, starting June 8 through Sept. 3. New routes from CLT to Vancouver are starting June 5, which will be the only nonstop service between North Carolina and British Columbia.
