Amazon expands home services, Lululemon's beer and Ferrari to go public

It's a mixed day for stocks today (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) as the dog days of summer lack a real catalyst one way or the other. Investors continue to watch earnings trickle out but aren't making big bets one way or the other.

Amazon Home Services expansion
E-commerce giant Amazon (AMZN) has announce it will expand the Amazon Home Services program to eleven new cities for a total of 15. The project connects homeowners and contractors for projects from house painting to plumbing and electrical work. Should Home Depot (HD) and Lowe's (LOW) be concerned?

Ferrari going public
While you still need a lot of cash to buy a Ferrari you will soon be able to buy shares of the car maker when Ferrari is spun off from parent company Fiat Chrysler (FCAU) and goes public on the New York Stock Exchange.

Lululemon gets into brewing
Lululemon (LULU) is known for it's comfortable clothing and is still seen by many to be female-focused. Well the brand has long been trying to appeal more to men and they may be onto something: beer. Next month the company will release about 88-thousand cans of Curiosity Lager in and around its hometown of Vancouver.
