Why Is Crown (CCK) Up 6.5% Since Last Earnings Report?
Crown (CCK) reported earnings 30 days ago. What's next for the stock? We take a look at earnings estimates for some clues.

Alaska Air Group, Inc.’s ALK subsidiary Alaska Airlines has launched a nonstop service between Mineta San Jose International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The daily roundtrips have been operational since Jul 6. The carrier is utilizing the A320 aircraft to ply on the routes.

With the expanded JFK service, Alaska Airlines now operates 15 flights per day to the airport from six West Coast cities of Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland,San Francisco, San Jose and Seattle. Moreover, from San Jose, the airline now offers 38 daily flights to 19 destinations.

The newly initiated service also highlights the carrier’s continued focus on widening its base across the West Coast. In yet another West Coast expansion initiative, last month, the carrier announced a new nonstop service between Sacramento, CA and Kona on Hawaii's Big Island. This single service connecting the two places is expected to be operational from Dec 20.

On another positive note, Alaska Airlines has opened the much-awaited lounge at JFK. The lounge caters to a premium customer experience, featuring a relaxing living room with a west coast vibe apart from other improved amenities.
