Experts Offer Charities Strategies and Best Practices at the 8th Annual Scotiabank Philanthropic Advisory Forum

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - October 13, 2016) - On Monday, October 17, more than 350 representatives from local charities will come together to receive expert advice at the Scotiabank Philanthropic Advisory Forum. The theme of the free forum, "Accountability and measuring impact", will explore ideas and best practices for charities in B.C. This is the 8th time that Scotiabank has hosted this popular event. 2016 SCOTIABANK PHILANTHROPIC ADVISORY FORUM DETAILS

WHAT:
FREE public service forum presented by Scotiabank as part of its commitment to supporting the community. This forum brings together charities from a number of service areas to discuss current issues facing the sector as well as to share best practices and solutions.

More than $950,000 in funds raised through the 2016 Scotiabank Charity Challenge will be presented to charities in attendance. Scotiabank will also donate six $1,000 door prizes to charities in attendance.
