CBL Properties hikes by one-half

CBL Properties (NYSE:CBL) hiked its quarterly dividend by 50% to $0.375 per share, or $1.5 annualized, for a substantial annual yield of 5.7%. The dividend will be payable on March 31, 2023, to stockholders of record on March 15, 2023, with an ex-dividend date of March 14, 2023.

The company is set to issue its next earnings report on March 1.

A 38% raise at Covenant Logistics

Covenant Logistics (NASDAQ:CVLG) hiked its quarterly dividend by 37.5% to $0.11 per share, or $0.44 annualized, for an annual yield of 1.3%. This is a 37.5% increase from the prior dividend of $0.08. The dividend will be payable on March 31, 2023, to stockholders of record on March 3, 2023, with an ex-dividend date of March 2, 2023.

Wolfe Research upgraded the stock last month, to Peerperform from Underperform, citing its "relatively cheap" valuation even after the stock came in "as the best-performing stock in our coverage last year (up 30%)." Covenant's January earnings report missed on earnings but handily beat on revenue.

Four more hikes and a special dividend

PDC Energy (NASDAQ:PDCE) hiked its quarterly dividend by 12.5% to $0.40 per share, or $1.60 annualized. The dividend is payable on March 16, 2023, to stockholders of record at the close of business on March 2, 2023.

PDC also added $750 million to its existing share-buyback authorization, bringing the total to $2B.

The company added that it "remains committed to returning a minimum of 60 percent of its annual post base dividend adjusted free cash flow (FCF) to shareholders through the Company’s share repurchase program and a year-end special dividend, if needed."

Extra Space Storage (NYSE:EXR) hiked its quarterly dividend by 4.1% to $1.62 per share, or $6.48 annualized, for an annual yield of 4.1%. The dividend will be payable on March 31, 2023, to stockholders of record on March 15, 2023, with an ex-dividend date of March 14, 2023.

Brunswick (NYSE:BC) hiked its quarterly dividend by 9.6% to $0.40 per share, or $1.6 annualized, for an annual yield of 1.8%. The dividend will be payable on March 15, 2023, to stockholders of record on February 27, 2023, with an ex-dividend date of February 24, 2023.

Unity Bancorp (NASDAQ:UNTY) hiked its quarterly dividend by 9.1% to $0.12 per share, or $0.48 annualized, for an annual yield of 1.8%. The dividend will be payable on March 24, 2023, to stockholders of record on March 10, 2023, with an ex-dividend date of March 9, 2023.

Qilian International (NASDAQ:QLI) declared a special dividend of $0.05 per share, for annual yield of 3.1%. The dividend will be payable on March 6, 2023, to stockholders of record on February 28, 2023, with an ex-dividend date of February 27, 2023.
