Yahoo Finance A 6-year-old girl tried out 57 different jobs in this “Glamour” video, and it’s simply adorable
Remember back in the day, when you were asked what you wanted to be when you grew up? Well, thanks to this sweet video, Glamour showcased a 6-year-old girl who got the chance to try out 57 different jobs and careers.
It’s pretty much like the best internship ever, if you think about it. She has yet to master multiplication, but still managed to get her foot in the door for varying career opportunities.
Shannon, who seems more than willing to accept this challenge, is absolutely adorable as she tries out fun jobs like DJ, Social Media Director, and dance instructor…as well as not-so-fun jobs, like DMV employee.
It’s great that she makes the most out of each and every one.
We also love the fact that “Judge” and “TV Judge” were two different categories. No offense, Judge Judy.
We definitely think that Shannon is onto something, with the “Cupcake Delicious App.”
“Millennials will love it!” she exclaims. (And she’s totally right.)
At the very end of the video, Shannon chats about her favorite and least favorite jobs. She thought that the scientist and “plunger” (we’re guessing plumber, who does indeed plunge) were the most fun.
“I don’t want to be at the DMV, it was really boring,” she admits with a smile.
Just wait until you get your license, Shannon. That sentence might mean so much more.
All in all, we think this video is an amazing way to show kids that they’ve got a lot of opportunities to choose from, as far as careers go. Many thanks to Shannon for showing us what some of these professions were all about!
