Whether you’re on holiday break, stuck in quarantine or simply have a game night in the near future, you can play these five family-friendly games with everyone. Not only are they age-appropriate for all, but they’re actually fun to play.

If you’re bored of the traditional Scrabble, Jenga and Monopoly, these games will definitely shake things up. Some are card games, some are board games, and some are totally unique. (Have you ever thrown a stuffed burrito at someone in a game before?)

Take a look below at these five fun (and newer) games on the market that you can play with anyone, from your little cousin to your great-grandmother.

Beat That is a game that includes 160 wacky challenges, like throwing a paper ball in a bin from across the room or gargling a favorite song. The key to winning is betting on your ability to successfully complete said challenges, whether you complete them on your own, with a partner or against all of the players in a battle royale.

2. Throw Throw Burrito, $19.82 (Orig. $24.99)

Throw Throw Burrito is part card game, part dodge ball, and it moves fast. The goal is to collect matching sets of cards faster than your opponents. However, there are a few battle cards that involve throwing the stuffed burritos between players, and all chaos breaks loose. Put away any fragile items and get ready to move.

3. Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition, $19.95 (Orig. $25)

You know the raunchy game Cards Against Humanity? Well, this is the toned-down version for families. Yes, it is kid-friendly, meaning there are no swear words and no inappropriate scenarios. It has 600 cards with plenty of toilet humor that will have kids and adults cackling (i.e., “Filling my butt with spaghetti”).

4. Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza, $8.76 (Orig. $10.99)

This card game moves fast! Here’s how to play. It seems simple at first: There are taco, cat, goat, cheese and pizza cards. Going around, each player says one of the words in the name of the game out loud — taco, cat, goat, cheese, pizza (in that order) — while each placing one card onto a center deck on the table. When the spoken word matches the card, players slap the deck, and the last player has to collect all of the cards. For example, when a player says “taco” while putting a taco card down, you slap. (There are a few special cards in there as well.) To win, a player needs to get rid of all of their cards and be the first to slap the deck in a match.

5. It’s in The Bag!, $25.99

It’s in The Bag! is a family-friendly charades game. First, split up into two teams. Next, each person draws a card. In the first round, you’ll try to describe your card to your team without saying the word. In the second round, you can use one word to describe it. And in the third round, you act it out. At the end, the team who guesses the most cards and earns the most points wins!
