The amount of money you can make as an Airbnb host depends largely on the location.

Owning a home in a popular tourist destination or near a major attraction can boost your earning potential. In some cities, the average rental can bring in over $5,000 a month.

Here’s a look at the cities where Airbnb hosts make the most money, according to the Airbnb management company Masterhost.
