Yahoo Finance 2025 Kia Soul Holds Line on Pricing, Adds a Soulmate Special Edition
Kia revealed the 2025 Soul, which adds a new Soulmate Special Edition.
The Soulmate edition comes with exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels, a brown interior, a two-tone roof, Harman Kardon audio, lower body cladding, and cloth seats.
Pricing for the Soul is up by $100 compared to 2024 but the model carries over otherwise unchanged for 2025.
Kia is looking for a bit of summer-loving with the introduction of the new Soulmate Special Edition of the 2025 Kia Soul. The special edition adds an exclusive set of 18-inch alloy wheels and gets a brown interior finished in "umber."
The Soulmate will also come with a two-tone roof, the Harman Kardon audio system which is usually optional on the GT-Line trim, lower-body cladding, and a mix of synthetic and cloth seating. Apart from the special edition, the subcompact SUV carries into 2025 mechanically identical to the 2024 version.
Since 2023, the Kia Soul has only had one engine option, and that doesn't change this year. As with all other 2025 Soul models, the Soulmate will be powered by a 147-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Despite needing 8.0 seconds to reach 60 mph, the last Kia Soul we tested felt quick enough for around-town driving.
Pricing is up across the board for 2025—though only just. Each trim rises by $100 compared to 2024, leaving the Soul as an attractive option for buyers on a budget. The entry-level LX now starts at $21,665, the S at $24,165, the GT-Line at $25,265, and the EX at $25,965. Kia didn't announce official pricing for the Soulmate edition, but we'd wager it will be right in line with the GT-Line and EX trims.
