Yahoo Finance 2024 Jeep Gladiator Gets the Mopar Treatment with Special Edition
The Mopar ’24 Jeep Gladiator is the latest special edition from the off-road-focused brand.
The Mopar model is painted black with red accents, mirrored by the black and Maraschino red leather seats inside.
There are also special graphics on the hood and bed sides, a hard tonneau cover, and unique badging all around.
Jeep is the Porsche of the off-road world, constantly cooking up new special-edition models for its lineup of iconic, classically styled vehicles. The latest is a unique trim for the Gladiator pickup created by Mopar, the main parts and accessory division for Stellantis’ American brands. The Mopar ’24 Jeep Gladiator—as the automaker refers to it—packs an array of add-ons, from rock rails to a tonneau cover, and it gets flashy red accents and a host of special decals and badges.
Mopar or No Car
The Mopar model is based on the Rubicon trim and is painted black with unique topographical Rubicon trail decals on the hood, bed sides, and tailgate. Red accents add a sporty flair, and the hood and bed sides also feature a Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) logo. The Mopar variant is also fitted with heavy-duty rock rails, a triple-hoop grille guard, and a Mopar badge on the tailgate. The bed also gains a spray-on bedliner and a hard tonneau cover.
Although Jeep didn’t provide any photos of the interior, we’re told that the cabin packs custom two-tone Katzkin leather seats, embossed with the Mopar logo and combining black and Maraschino red. The red hue appears again on the center console armrest as well as the stitching on the seats, steering wheel, and instrument panel. The center console also displays a serialized Mopar ‘24 badge, and the cabin includes a Mopar headliner and all-weather floor mats.
The 285-hp 3.6-liter V-6 is unchanged from its regular duty in standard Gladiators. The Mopar Gladiator rides on 17-inch aluminum wheels with black accents, wrapped in Falken all-terrain tires. Every owner also gets a package with a personalized certificate of authenticity and a rendering of the vehicle along with an 83-piece JPP tool kit. Customers can fit a variety of extra Jeep Performance Parts to their truck too. Jeep will only build 250 examples of the 2024 Gladiator Mopar edition. The special model costs $72,190 and is currently reaching select Jeep dealerships.
