Yahoo Finance 2017 Audi Q7 price drops to $49,950 with 2.0-liter engine
During the launch of its second-generation Q7 at the 2015 Detroit auto show, Audi confirmed that the big SUV would eventually offer three powertrains.
The list included a 252-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4, a 333-hp supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 and a 272-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 diesel.
The supercharged V-6 has been available since the market arrival earlier in the year. Audi is now making the turbocharged inline-4 available.

It comes with an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive and brings the starting price of the 2017 Q7 down to $49,950. The supercharged V-6 model remains priced from $55,750. Both figures include a $950 destination charge.
Despite the low-cylinder count, Audi says the inline-4-equipped Q7 can tow 4,400 pounds (with available towing package) and is actually quicker to 60 mph than the previous generation’s V-6 option. The estimated fuel economy is a reasonable 22 mpg combined.
Deliveries of the 2017 Q7 equipped with the inline-4 are scheduled to commence in early 2017. It’s unlikely we’ll see the planned diesel option given the ongoing emissions cheating scandal.
