2016 Yamaha YZF-R1S

Whether or not this bike will live up our lofty standards of the R1 name, despite it's 9 extra pounds of weight and 2,000 shorter rpm range, is yet to be seen. We, however, intend to find out, and if these photos are to be believed, we'll have an awesome time doing it.

Even if it is simply a watered-down R1, can you really push an R1 to the max anyway?
