The 10 Best (And Worst) Cities To Get Married In

From ELLE DECOR

Weddings aren't exactly cheap. According to The Knot's annual Real Weddings Study, the average cost of a wedding in the United States is actually over $30,000.

If that number makes your heart pound, you're not alone. And, as it turns out, there are plenty of places across the country where weddings are a little cheaper.

Yes, it may mean abandoning your dream location - whether that's in the middle of the ocean, or the middle of a Christmas tree farm - but these cities on Wallet Hub's list of the best places to get married are worth considering.

The financial planning website compared the country's 150 biggest cities, factoring in wedding cost, the number of venues and event spaces, and the availability of hotels, to determine the easiest places to plan your nuptials.

Taking the top spot is Orlando, Florida, with its large number of event spaces per capita, while Moreno Valley, California came in dead last based on its high wedding costs and low number of venues and hotels.
