The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau said it was suing Comerica for failing 3.4 million "Direct Express" card holders -- who the agency said were primarily unbanked people receiving federal benefits -- by deliberately disconnecting their phone calls and charging them illegal fees. In doing so, "Comerica boosted its bottom line at the expense of Americans living on a fixed income," Rohit Chopra, the agency's director, said in a statement. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq hit intraday record highs on Friday as traders increased bets on a Federal Reserve rate cut this month following robust November nonfarm payrolls data, while a drop in UnitedHealth shares weighed on the Dow. Ryan Gravenberch is also only one caution away from being suspended and, in the heat of what is likely to be the final derby at Goodison Park, barring an FA Cup meeting, Slot is aware tensions can sometimes boil over.

In a letter dated Dec. 5, Republican Senator Mike Lee and Democratic Senator Peter Welch asked for an investigation following reports that the two companies were allegedly acting together to pressure businesses not to engage with competitors. "After their merger to monopoly was blocked, it seems that FanDuel and DraftKings have arguably acted as one company, violating our antitrust laws," they wrote, citing the companies' failed 2016 plan to combine.
